Two men were sentenced recently in Madison County Superior Court to prison for child molestation.
Ronnie V. Mills was sentenced to 15 years confinement for child molestation. He was also sentenced to five years probation and fined $6,465.
In a separate case, Phillip John Hulings was sentenced to eight years confinement and 12 years probation for child molestation. He was also fined $3,965. A charge of aggravated sexual battery was dismissed.
Others sentenced recently in Madison County Superior Court included:
•Marshall Lynn Britt, 43, Jersey, was sentenced to one year confinement for interference with a 911 call and 10 years probation for aggravated assault. He was also fined $6,465. Charges of robbery, kidnapping, terroristic threats and acts, burglary and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission a crime were dismissed.
•John Christopher Shook, 36, Danielsville, was sentenced to one year confinement for two counts of obstruction of officers and one count of violation of Georgia’s Controlled Substances Act (VGCSA) — possession of cocaine. A charge of possession of tools for the commission of a crime was dismissed.
•Saxon Alexander Brooks, 20, Colbert, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $202 for reckless conduct.
•Mickey Glenn Rooker, 48, Danielsville, was sentenced to five years probation and fined $512 for receipt, possession or transfer of a firearm by a convicted felon.
•Marcus Stephen Cox, 21, Colbert, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $202 for reckless conduct.
•Keith D. Porterfield, 44, Danielsville, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $472 for theft by taking. Charges of possession of tools for the commission of a crime and damaging, injuring or interfering with public property were dismissed.
•Clint Lee Flanigan, 33, Hull, was sentenced to one year probation for DUI and driving while license suspended and three months probation for an open container violation. He was also fined $1,921. Charges of theft receiving stolen property, operating a vehicle without a valid tag and acquiring a license plate with the purpose of concealing the identification of a vehicle.
•Charles Thomas Collins, 49, Danielsville, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $1,025 for reckless driving (reduced from DUI). A charge of failure to maintain a lane was dismissed.
•Joe Clyde Guest III, 28, Comer, was sentenced to one day confinement and one year probation for DUI. He was also fined $1,290. Charges of marijuana — less than an ounce and operating a vehicle without a valid tag were dismissed.
•Johnny Lanier Stephens, 51, Winterville, was sentenced to one year probation for reckless driving (reduced from DUI alcohol) and weaving over roadway. He was also fined $1,289. A charge of driving while license suspended was dismissed.
•Steven Wayne Miller, 28, Elberton, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $270 for obstruction of officers. He was also sentenced to one year probation and fined $270 for criminal trespass. A charge of theft by receiving stolen property was dismissed.
•Connie Melissa Hand, 27, Nicholson, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $135 for giving false information to law officers.
•Larry Darnell Jones, 45, Athens, was sentenced to six months probation for failure to maintain a lane and reckless driving. He was fined $470. Charges of speeding and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer were dismissed.
•Marsha June Price, 45, Hartwell, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $651 for DUI. She was also sentenced to one year probation for failure to maintain lane.
•Matthew Lee Archer, 29, Commerce, was sentenced to 10 years probation on two counts of theft by taking (reduced from burglary) and fined $2,715. A charge of possession of tools for the commission of a crime was dismissed.
•Brandy D. McLaughlin, 25, Athens, was sentenced to five years probation and fined $2,015 for possession of methamphetamine. Charges of possession of amphetamine and possession, manufacture or distribution of marijuana were dismissed.
•Dana Michelle Savage, 28, Winder, was sentenced to 10 years probation and fined $840 for burglary.
