An Athens man was sentenced recently in Madison County Superior Court to a year and a half in jail for burglary.
William Daniel Warwick, 40, was sentenced to 18 months confinement, 42 months probation and a $1,465 for burglary and theft by taking. He was also sentenced to one year confinement with credit for time served for simple battery.
Other actions filed recently in the office of the Clerk of Superior Court include:
•Jamie Fitzpatrick, 22, Danielsville, was sentenced to five years probation for possession of cocaine (reduced from violation of Georgia’s Controlled Substances Act — sale of cocaine). Fitzpatrick was also fined $1,140. She was also sentenced to one year probation and fined $210 for possession of marijuana — less than an ounce.
•Roderious Latray Cooper, 22, Colbert, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $472 for criminal trespass.
•Kandice Massey, 29, Danielsville, was sentenced to one year probation and fined a total of $1,147 for battery, criminal trespass and public drunkenness.
•Casey Justin Conway, 20, Danielsville, was sentenced to one year probation for marijuana — less than an ounce (reduced from VGCSA — possession of marijuana with intent to distribute) and four years probation for possession of tools for the commission of a crime. He was also fined $747.
•Larry Frank Gaddis, 44, Danielsville, was sentenced to 10 years probation and fined $780 for VGCSA — possession of methamphetamines. He was also sentenced to one year probation for possession of tools for the commission of a crime. A charge of driving while license suspended or revoked was dismissed.
•Howard Findley, 43, Stephens, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $726 for DUI. Charges of DUI, open container violation and obstruction of officers were dismissed.
•Ramona Vanessa Wilhite, 48, Athens, was sentenced to eight days confinement for public drunkenness.
•Matthew Asher Taylor, 33, Danielsville, was sentenced to five years probation and fined $1,275 for VGCSA — possession of methamphetamine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
•Larry Gaddis, 44, Danielsville, was sentenced to 10 years probation and fined $840 for theft by taking and one year probation for theft by conversion.
•Jarrell Roderick Hester, 18, Athens, was sentenced to 10 years probation and fined $2,715 for burglary.
•William Lee Patterson, 20, Dallas, was sentenced to seven years probation for theft by receiving stolen property and financial transaction card theft and one year probation for furnishing, possessing or purchasing alcohol underage and giving false information to law enforcement officers. He was also fined $1,465.
•Samuel Cunningham, 51, Danielsville, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $270 for disorderly conduct. A charge of simple assault was dismissed.
•Angela Loree Sims, 39, Danielsville, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $2,600 for criminal trespass (reduced from arson in the third degree).
•William Abraham Bicksler, 26, Danielsville, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $270 for criminal trespass. A charge of loitering or prowling was dismissed.
•James Joseph Welch Jr., 19, Colbert, was sentenced to one year probation for drugs not in original container (reduced from VGCSA — possession of schedule IV controlled substance) and a second charge of possession of drugs not in original container. He was also fined $1,475. A charge of marijuana — less than an ounce — was dismissed.
