Poca VFD asks for help with thefts

The Pocataligo Volunteer Fire Department is asking for the public’s help in recovering several items that were recently stolen. The department is missing a Huskavner 455 Rancher chainsaw and one K-14 cut off saw with a diamond blade. This is the third theft from the fire department in as many years, according to members.

“If you or someone you know has purchased these saws, please give us a call,” members said. “We will refund your purchase price.” The department is also offering a $500 reward to anyone who can help catch and convict the thief or thieves responsible for these thefts.

“We thank you for your support in the past and would appreciate your help in this matter,” members said.
