Carlton couple faces family violence charges

Rachael Lou Epps, 26, of 214 Osley Mill Road, was charged with one count of battery, while her live-in boyfriend, Mike David Puleo, 28, of the same address, was charged with battery and aggravated assault (bondsman off bond).

According to the incident report, Deputy Gary Floyd went to the scene where Puleo told him his girlfriend “jumped on him during an argument.” Epps agreed that they got into a fight, but she said that it happened in the bathroom after she locked herself in there during the argument and Puleo kicked the door in and pushed her down on the floor. She fought with him as she tried to get up. The deputy noted scratches on both Puleo’s arms and scratches on Epps’ right hand. The altercation reportedly took place in front of a 2-year old child. Both parties were arrested and the child was turned over to family members.

•Steve Brian Perdue, 24, 587 Adams Duncan Road, Hull, open container, DUI, simple battery of a police officer, fleeing or attempting to elude, speeding, possession of marijuana, driving while license withdrawn, suspended or revoked and turning position (signals required). (GSP arrest)

•Clarance Mark Woody, 44, 991 Adams Clark Road, Danielsville, hold for Banks County.

•John Wesley Carter, Jr., 27, 5851 Hwy 106 South, Hull, probation violation and a bench warrant.

•James Allen Chaney, 52, 561 Watson Mill Road, Comer, hold for Oglethorpe County.

•Adrien Tremayne Coleman, 24, 145 Hidden Hill Lane, Athens, bench warrant (original charge: VGCSA – sale of cocaine).

•Ronald Gene Marlow, 48, 1435 Princeton Drive, Statham, probation violation (original charge: theft by shoplifting), failure to appear (original charge: suspended license) and order to incarcerate for child support.

•Horace Lamar Morton, 30, 906 Bray’s Lake Road, Royston, driving while license withdrawn, speeding and probation violation (original charges: DUI, suspended license, open container, etc.).

•Steve Paul Phillips, 34, 1005 Land hardman Archer, Commerce, probation violation (original charge: burglary).

•Israel Pompa Aguilar, 26, 110 Howell Way, Athens, two counts of child restraint and driving without a license.

•Emiliano Juarez Alcantara, 34, 1495 Hwy. 29 North, Athens, driving without a license.

•Christopher Dale Bruner, 26, 25 Shannon’s Place, Comer, hold for Houston County.

•Jason Richard Coile, 29, 21 Sherwood Drive, Danielsville, probation violation.
