Anyone ask what we are going to pay this guy? Do any of the reporter types care or think the citizenry might care as well?

We need to hire people that live in Madison County. The people in this county are good people as well. Most of us have been to College to. We all pay taxes in this county. This makes a difference to me. Keep our money for the people that live in the county.

I think this is a good hire. This guy will obviously move here to the county and from what I hear has already brought his wife and kids by and introduced them to everyone. The current pricipal never planned on moving here and becoming part of the community nor did he ever even introduce his family to anyone. BTW he is only working one to two days a week here now and is probably still drawing his full salary.

I wish our new Principal well and hope he has long term intentions here. We need someone who is in it for the long haul and not already looking for another job when they come here. Our children are the one's who will benefit from a good leader and they are the future.

Mr. (soon to be Dr.) Stone is a very bright, well-qualified candidate for the job. He made a lot of very positive changes in Turner County, change that I personally hope he will implement in MC. I have to disagree with the comment that we "need to hire people that live in the county"...We need to hire the most qualified people for the job! Good luck to Mr. Stone, and welcome you and your family to MC!

Ive known Mr. Stone some time now since he coached me in high school . He always be a positive influence on students an all others around. From being my coach to many years later being a friend and colleague. I think Chad will do a excellent job there and if not you always go a place back in TC.
