Hull man faces family violence charge

A Hull man was recently arrested on family violence charges.

Alfonso Maldonado Salgado, 27, 9574 Hwy. 72 West, was charged with one count each battery FVA and cruelty to children in the third degree.

Other arrests on file at the sheriff’s office last week included:

•Terry Wayne Fowler, 37, 9574 Hwy. 72 West, Hull, maintaining a disorderly house.

•Connie Melissa Hand, 28, 9574 Hwy. 72 West, Lot 2A, Hull, maintaining a disorderly house.

•Jason William Hardwick, 28, 165 Norwood Drive, Athens, bench warrant.

•Dolly Regina Hicks, 42, 212 Sherwood Drive, Danielsville, criminal trespass, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, bench warrant (original charges: criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, etc.) and probation violation (original charge: DUI).

•James Cleveland Mapp, 64, 5654 Hwy. 98 East, Comer, obstruction of an officer.

•Dean Scott Palazzola, 44, 3250 Hwy. 29 South, Colbert, probation violation (original charges: possession of tools during the commission of a crime).

•Rita Michelle Rogers, 41, 1155 Robert Hardman Road, Winterville, probation violation (original charges: four counts of bad checks).

•Sandy Lou Waldrip, 50, 247 Loen Street, Colbert, failure to appear (original charges: DUI and failure to maintain a lane).

•Richard Charles Wikstrom, 38, 724 Lakewood Drive, Toccoa, public drunkenness.

•Angela Delores Branch, 43, 2275 Waggoner Grove Church Road, Colbert, disorderly conduct.

•Ramiro Alejandro Casas, 33, 152 Glenn Carrie Road, Hull, DUI and driving without a license.

•Jason Steven Couch, 35, 3556 Hwy. 29, Colbert, failure to appear.

•Alvaro Solis Dominquez, 42, 319 Umber Road, Hull, failure to drive within a single lane, obstruction of an officer and driving without a license.

•Noe Munoz Galeaa, 29, 163 Ed Coile Road, Hull, expired or no driver’s license. (Danielsville PD)

•Jose Eric Gaona, 21, 97 Arthur Road, Hull, adult restraint law seat belt and driving without a license. (Georgia State Patrol)

•Robbie Lee Gunter, 28, 111 Ivy Wood Drive, Hull, bench warrant. (Comer PD)

•James Kirby Haley Jr., 22, 170 Reese Lane, Hull, failure to appear.

•Robert Lee Hall, 60, 37 Chandler Ray Road, Hull, battery.

•Herman Dewitte Holcomb, 61, 118 Scoggin Road, Colbert, sex offender registration.

•John Eric Little, 34, 117 Stapler Road, Athens, carrying a concealed weapon.

•Steven Curtis Mitchell, 21, 271 Knox Road, Martin, DUI/alcohol and criminal damage to property.

•Crystal Dale Pilgrim, 30, 90 Branch Street, Canon, failure to appear.

•Tomas Alvear Rivera, 46, 808 Norwood Road, Hull, driving without a license.

•William James Treadwell, 19, 3536 King Hall Mills Road, Bowman, possession of marijuana and adult restraint law seatbelt.

•Matthew Jay Webler, 30, 858 Saybrook, Lilburn, DUI, open container and failure to drive within a single lane.

•Kathy Dianne Wills, 38, 210 Reese Lane, Hull, two counts of battery.

•Daniel Phillip Wilson, 29, 484 Hawthorne Avenue, Athens, criminal trespass.

I don't know either I guess it's having a dirty house with trash everywhere and dishes everywhere with food still on thes and bugs crawling all over the place and more beer cans sitting around than milk bottles,no food,kids being neglected???

I don't know I was wondering the same thing? Unless there were kids involved? That's the only reason I can see where anyone would care if you cleaned your house? Someone needs to tell us something? I have come up with a bunch of reasons that this could mean but don't know if they are rght? Like there could have been a bunch of drunks in the house passed out with kids there, Or they wouldn't clean house and wash dishes, Or there was food laying around everywhere and had done started attracting roaches and mice O.h.and don't forget about the flies.
If they going to arrest someone and put it in the paper lets keep it simple? Say what they were arrested for in PLAIN ENGLISH because country people's minds will come up with all kinds of reasons if you tell us stuff in these long educated terms?

coach I never said we were best friends,fishing buddies or nothing like that? I just said he was elected to do the job of Sheriff so we should let him do it.Yes I will defend him when people like you are putting him down saying he can't do the job. But if people would keep their nose out of the Sheriffs business and stop telling him how to do it he might get it done.
But to answer your question: The next time I see him I will ask him?

Well I'm still curious why can't they tell it in simple English? I think They use all these big terms to say something that makes it sound much worse than it is or so we won't have a clue as to what they are talking about?

A person who maintains a house that encourages gambling or drinking, or causes a constant disturbance in a neighborhood, Basicly that house in your community that is a nuisance to you and your neighbors and the cops have had enough of there crap!

The GBI or someone like that had to call Sheriff Skip and tell him. Cause he does not have that much intelligence to research such a crime....

Maybe not, and you think you got the intelligence to do the job?? I doubt it you can't even get his name right? It's not Skip It's SHERIFF KIP THOMAS and you may be right Sheriff Skip may not be smart enough to research such a crime? whoever he is
