One injured in head-on collision

One person was injured in a two vehicle head-on collision about 3 p.m. Friday afternoon on Hwy. 106 just north of Ila near Hwy. 174.

David Moon, Ila, was headed north when, according to reports at the scene, a woman in a beige sedan heading south, crossed the centerline and struck the left front of Moon's pick up head on. The woman, whose identity was not immediately available, was transported to an Athens hospital by Madison County EMS. Margie Richards/Staff
