A Colbert woman said her boyfriend threw a cup of ice in her face during an argument at her Isabella Way residence, causing injury.
The boyfriend also broke two drinking glasses during the outburst, according to Madison County Sheriff’s Office reports.
The alleged ice-throwing incident occurred during an exchange between the two over their relationship, according to the report.
The woman then asked the man about a weed trimmer, according to reports. That’s when the man allegedly hurled the cup of ice at the woman, which left a small scratch on her left cheek.
When the man got in his truck, the woman reportedly threw the weed trimmer in question, striking the vehicle.
The officer at the scene explained the temporary protective order (TPO) process to the woman.
