Hazel Minish

COMMERCE – Hazel Echols Minish, 79, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at her residence.

Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Hassie McElreath Echols. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, T.G. Minish.

Survivors include children, Pam Ramsey, Steve Minish, and Clyde Minish, all of Commerce, and Bobby Minish, Hull; sisters, Helen Cole and Sarah Baird, both of Commerce; 14 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 3, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, July 2, from 6 to 9 p.m., and at other times at the home of Pam Ramsey, 1343 Yarbrough-Ridgeway Rd., Maysville.
