Voters may cast their ballots Monday through Friday, July 7 through July 11, before the general primary on July 15, according to a press release from the registrar’s office.
Early voting hours are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day.
There will be no absentee/early voting on the Monday (July 14) prior to the election.
“Please remember, Georgia law requires you to show photo identification when voting in person,” officials said.
A list of acceptable forms of identification includes: a Georgia driver’s license, even if expired; a valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency, or entity of the U.S. Government, Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority, or other entity of this state; a valid U. S. passport; a valid U.S. military photo; a valid tribal photo ID or any valid state or federal government issued photo ID, including a free voter ID card issued by your county registrar’s office or the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS).
