Terroristic threats and acts were reported on Neese Commerce Road when a pastor reported that a man pointed a gun at him.
According to the incident report, the victim reported that he had pulled out of a driveway on Neese Commerce and turned left on Hwy. 98 when a black Nissan Sentra passed him on a double yellow line. The pastor said he blew the horn at the vehicle and that the white male driver with dark hair and a mustache responded by “shooting him a bird.”
As he continued behind the Nissan, the driver then allegedly pulled a rifle out of the window and displayed it twice before pulling into the golf course near the Jackson County line and pointing it at the victim. The pastor provided a tag number and deputies attempted to locate the registered driver at his listed address. A relative there told deputies that the man was in a drug rehab center. The victim was advised of the warrant process and stated that he would pursue charges through magistrate court.
