A Danielsvlle man was arrested recently on drug and traffic charges.
David Curtis Dean, 40, 85 Grady Avenue, was charged with driving while license withdrawn/suspended or revoked and possession, manufacture, distribution, etc. Violation of the GA Controlled Substances Act (morphine).
According to the incident report, Dean was pulled over for not having a car tag on Hwy. 98 near CO Draper Road. As Deputy Michael Free asked Dean to step out of the car, the suspect remarked that one of his friends had left his medication in the vehicle. Dean’s passenger turned out to be the owner of the car and gave permission for it to be searched. A pill bottle containing morphine sulfate was found in the car.
In another arrest, Terrance Netkl Grant, 34, 124 Flint Street, Comer, was charged with possession, manufacture, distribution, etc. VGCSA cocaine and a probation violation (original charges: DUI, driving with suspended license, etc.).
According to the Comer Police Department, Chief Brent Zellner observed Grant walking East on Hwy 72 and knew he had an active warrant in Comer Municipal Court. He made contact with Grant and advised him of the warrant and placed him under arrest. Before being placed into Zellner’s patrol car, a check of his person produced a blue container with suspected crack cocaine inside of it. Grant was charged with possession of cocaine along with the warrant.

•John Robert Gordon Jr., 18, 107 Rocky Branch Hollow Road, Nicholson, bench warrant (original charge: underage consumption).
•Timothy Jason Hammond, 28, 895 Poss Road, Comer, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
•Deddrick Labron Haynes, 37, 150 Hawthorne Ext., Athens, simple battery FVA.
•Richard Earl Helms, 44, 9050 Hwy. 106 South, Hull, bench warrant (original charge: obstruction).
•Shonda Kaye Hill, 39, 433 Timber Ridge, Colbert, two counts of probation violation.
•Douglas Eugene Holcomb, 61, 3332 Blacks Creek Church Road, Commerce, possession, manufacture, distribution, etc. VGCSA.
•David Mark Hosting, 30, 1730 Pine Valley Farm Road, Comer, probation violation and possession of methamphetamine.
•Lois Renee Maddox, 31, 3510 Eley Road, Gibson, probation violation (original charges: forgery, financial identity card fraud, etc.), theft by receiving stolen property, 15 counts of forgery in the first degree and four counts of forgery in the second degree.
•Randall Eugene Parham, 42, 3545 Hwy. 98 East, Comer, driving while license withdrawn, suspended or revoked, attempt or conspiracy to commit offense, driving without headlights when required, failure to drive within a single lane, obstruction of an officer and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.
•Timothy Joe Parham, 44, 4372 Comer Paoli Road, Comer, probation violation (original charge: VGCSA possession of methamphetamine).
•Joseph Smith, Jr., 33, 1047 Dunlap Road, Athens, fleeing or attempting to elude, driving while license withdrawn/suspende/revoked, DUI/alcohol, reckless driving, improper passing, failure to yield the right-of-way, failure to drive within a single lane and failure to obey a stop sign.
•Michael Wayne Washam, 33, 3510 Eley Road, Gibson, four counts of forgery in the first degree, one count of identity fraud, possession, manufacture, distribution, etc. VGCSA cocaine and drug-related objects.
•Charlie Albert Whitley, 24, 2740 Della Slaton Road, Comer, giving false information or false name, obstruction of an officer.
•Cindy Marie Whitley, 22, 5657 Hwy. 29 South, Hull, two counts of obstruction of an officer.
•John Marcus Wood, 37, 3211 Hwy. 98 Danielsville, probation violation (original charge: burglary).
•Cedric Aundry Bush Sr., 36, 1369 McCannon Morris Road, Hull, battery FVA (Family Violence Act).
