By order for service by publication dated the 2nd day of June, 2008, you are hereby notified that on the 28th day of May, 2008, the Forsyth County Department of Family and Children Services filed a Motion for Non-Reunification as to the Parents and a Motion for the Extension of Temporary Custody (Deprivation) against Vinnie Arwood and Robert Dillard as to the above named child. You are required to file with the Clerk of Juvenile Court, and to serve upon Petitioner’s attorney, Lisa Malas, an answer in writing within sixty (60) days of the date of the Order of Publication.
You are hereby notified that a Motion for Non-Reunification as to the Parents and a Motion for the Extension of Temporary Custody (Deprivation) on the above-named child has been filed in the Forsyth County Juvenile Court by the Forsyth County Department of Family and Children Services. Copies of the motions are attached to this Summons for your information.
You are further notified that a hearing for the purpose of showing Deprivation of the minor children will be held by the Court on the 19th day of August, 2008 at 9:00 a .m., at which time you should make your objections known or, you may file a written response with the Juvenile Court within thirty (30) days of this notice.
The child and other parties involved may be represented by a lawyer at all stages of these proceedings. If you want a lawyer, you may choose and hire your own lawyer. If you want to hire a lawyer, please contact your lawyer immediately. If you want a lawyer but are not able to hire a lawyer without undue financial hardship, you may ask for a lawyer to be appointed to represent you. The Court would inquire into your financial circumstances and if the Court finds you to be financially unable to hire a lawyer, then a lawyer will be appointed to represent you. If you want a lawyer appointed to represent you, you must let the Court or the officer of this Court handling this case know that you want a lawyer immediately. In the exercise of the Court’s discretion and in the interest of the child, the child need not be brought before the Court at the hearing.

The Madison County Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at 6:30 p.m., and the Madison County Board of Commissioners will hold public hearings on Monday, July 28, 2008, at 6:30 p.m. The hearings are held at the Government Complex located at 91 Albany Ave, Danielsville. The said named persons and any and all other persons known and unknown claiming any right, title, power, interest, ownership, equity, claim or demand in and to the lands hereinafter described, and all occupants, tenants, lessees; licensees and all holders, owners and users of ways and easements in, across, over and under said land are hereby notified, under the provisions of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated Sections 32-3-4 through 32-3-19, providing for the exercise of the power of eminent domain by the State of Georgia, or any of its subdivisions, or by any county of such State, as follows:
That the above stated case, being a condemnation in rem. against the property
hereinafter described, was filed in said Court on the 6th day of May, 2007; That, in accordance with provisions of the aforesaid Official Code, a Declaration of Taking, duly authorized and properly executed as provided by the Official Code, has been made and filed in said case, declaring the necessity for and exercising the power of taking the said described lands for County transportation purposes, thereby vesting the title to same in Madison County, Georgia; and, in pursuance of such authority, the County has deposited with the Clerk of the Superior Court of said County, $2,000.00 as the just compensation for the said lands described; and all persons claiming such fund or any interest therein, are hereby required to make known their claims to the Court.
In accordance with the provisions of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, the Plaintiff-Condemnor has prayed the Court for Immediate possession of said property, and all persons having any interest in or claim against such property, as above set forth, are required by the Order of the Judge of said Court to surrender possession of the property to Madison County, Georgia, no later than 15 days from filing of the Declaration of Taking.
That in accordance with the Official Code of Georgia Annotated Section 32-3-13 through 32-3-19, if the owner, or any of the owners, or any person having a claim against or interest in said property, shall be dissatisfied with the compensation, as estimated in the Declaration of Taking and deposited in Court, such person or persons, or any of them, shall have the right, at any time subsequent to the filing of the Declaration and the deposit of the fund into Court but not later than 30 days following the date of service as provided for in the Official Code of Georgia Annotated Sections 32-3-8 through 32-3-10 to file with the Court a notice of appeal, the same to be in writing and made a part of the record in the proceedings.
The said property, as thus affected, is described as follows:
Fee simple title to that tract or parcel of land, situate, lying and being in the 262 General Militia District of Madison County, Georgia, and being shown as “Required R/W”, consisting of 0.213 acre, on that survey titled “Right of Way Plat for Madison County Board of Commissioners,” prepared by James R. Smith, Registered Surveyor, dated June 14, 2007, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit “A”. Said survey is herein incorporated for a full and complete legal description.

Effective May 19, 2008
Please be advised that on May 19, 2008, the Madison County Board of Commissioners amended the current Occupation Tax Ordinance. Previously only businesses with W-2 employees were required to purchase an Occupation Tax Certificate (OTC). The new amendment requires all business owners with and without W-2 employees engaged in any business, trade, profession, or occupation in the unincorporated portion of Madison County, Georgia, to purchase an (OTC) by September 1st, 2008. Late fees and penalties will apply after September 1st, 2008.
