The Madison County Board of Commissioners will meet Monday, Oct. 5, at 6:30 p.m. in the county government complex.

PUBLIC HEARINGS
•Danny Vaughn for his daughter Toni Vaughn request to rezone 8.49 acres from A-2 to R-R to subdivide into 2 parcels. The property is located on Map 15 Parcel 102-01 on Planter Gunnell Road in District 1.
•Tim Ray is requesting to rezone 8.34 of a 13.35 acre-parcel from A-1 to R-R, the remaining 5 acres will stay A-1. The property is located on Map 1 Parcel 38 on D Williams Road in District 1.
•Chairman Wayne Douglas with amendment to sections 7.12.7.1(a), 7.12.7.2, 7.12.7.3 and 7.14.4.1 in the zoning ordinance.

If they do away with the city police they will save enough money to fund another department?
So get rid of them and let that money filter out through the sheriffs Dept. That way the sheriffs Dept.get the money they want and NEED then there will be some money left for the BOC Drunken partys.

I have concerns with zoning that it needs to be better than average and maybe need new blood there.
