A fire destroyed the home of Robert Austin at 2246 Adams Clarke Road around 9:30 Friday morning.
Austin and two other residents of the home escaped without injury. Austin said the fire started at an electrical outlet in a bedroom. Ila, Neese-Sanford and Pocataligo Fire Departments responded to the blaze.
