So what does this mean for the kids who are in Fourth grade this year. Does it mean the county will have 2 schools like Jackson County does? Jackson County has Jackson County High school in Jefferson and East Jackson High school off Hwy.441 on Hoods Mill Rd.

There are four high schools in Jackson County. None of them are charter schools.

Ok I know about the 4 high schools There is Jackson County,East Jackson,Jefferson, and Commerce High schools but I was talking about the Jackson County school system. So what is a charter school?
