Didn't anyone tell county commissioners we did not need this? I believe we did. Why do we have commissioners that have NO business sense?

I think that Madison and Oglethorpe County goverments should help the shelter. A one dollar per head increase would solve the problem. The contribution has not been increased since the start of the shelter, and we all know things have gone up. This shelter cannot be allowed to fail. If it does it will only cost more for animal control and other areas. These people at the shelter have worked hard to survive. I can't speak for Oglethorpe County but Madison County can sure blow money in other areas not nearly as worthy as this one. Come on guys cough up the money.

I agree a one dollar per head raise would be enough. My goodness, they waste more than this on theft.
