Two people were arrested recently for prowling after deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress at the Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter.
Matthew Henry Williams, 21, 63 Dry Creek Road, Danielsville, and Loren Avery Stratton, 24, 1378 Bullock Mill Road, were charged with one count each of loitering or prowling.
In another incident, a man on Brownwood Drive reported that a man exposed himself to his neighbor’s wife and two-year old child. He stated the neighbor has been having problems with this person for several days.
In a third incident, a woman on Hwy. 29 North reported that someone was threatening her on her Facebook account. When the deputy arrived, she was still on her Facebook account and was still receiving messages from unknown person(s) who “threatened to kill everyone in the house” and appeared to know a lot about the victim and her relatives, according to the report. The victim stated she didn’t know could be sending the messages.
In another incident, a Danielsville doctor’s office reported that a patient allegedly altered a prescription for Ambien and Phenergen and attempted to have the prescription filled. The prescription was voided and the deputy said he had not been able to locate the patient at the time of the report.
