A woman reportedly filed a report at the sheriff’s office on Christmas Eve night, saying she was raped at a residence around Carlton.
The woman gave the identity of the man and said that he had had sexual intercourse with her against her will. The case was turned over to investigators.
In another incident, three male juveniles were reportedly arrested for vandalizing the pool house at The Reserve Subdivision on Roger’s Mill Road.
Deputy Alan Stratton and Major Shawn Burns were called to the scene where they reportedly found paint thrown on the roof, doors kicked in, paint and other items thrown in the pool and a severely bent wrought iron gate. The owner estimated the damages at $4,500.
The officers located three sets of tracks and a small set of wheels that led toward Rogers Mill Road. Deputy Stratton located three boys at the main entrance to the subdivision and their shoes matched the shoe prints found at the scene, along with the wheels on a skateboard that one of the boys had. They were taken to the Madison County Jail, where they were turned over to an investigator.
