A Belton, South Carolina man was arrested early recently after he was found walking along a Madison County road while intoxicated.
James Rudolph Robinson Jr., 47, 1420 Big Creek Road, was charged with one count of pedestrian under the influence of alcohol.
According to the incident report, Deputy Dennis Harbison was dispatched to the intersection of Irvin Kirk and Rock Quarry roads after a witness called 911 to report a man who appeared to be intoxicated walking along the road.
Harbison arrived to find the witness still on scene, who described the man’s actions. After Robinson gave his identification to Harbison, he reportedly told the deputy that he and an unnamed person had gone to a bar in Anderson, S.C., earlier.
