We, the big, powerful and greedy businesses and the obscenely wealthy individuals (the people), of the United States of America, in order to form a more perfect monopoly (union), establish sloped playing fields (justice), insure domestic subservience (tranquility), provide for the defense industry (common defense), promote the cheap workforce (general welfare), and secure the blessings of wealth (liberty) to ourselves and our posterity only, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Just a little fun with words. I wonder how others might have some fun with this.
Sincerely,
Virginia Moss
You obviously know nothing of the justice system if you think it is sloped. Where else but in America would a terrorist bomber who tried to blow up an airliner be considered for trial under the criminal codes rather than the international terrorism laws? Again, thanks to the community organizer for this. Only in America is a citizen guaranteed an attorney when accused of a crime. Pretty level if you think about it
"... provide for the defense industry" - where would you be without the defense industry? Wake up and look around Virginia, you have been drinking the liberal kool aid much too long. These are the people who provide the tools to protect this nation so you can sleep safely at night and make silly statements like this one.
Perhaps you need to go to Cuba and help with the sugar cane harvest if you want to know about cheap work forces. The labor unions have priced the American labor force out of a job by demanding higher and higher wages. Then the Mexican workers cross the border and will work for less money. What does the average small business do? He can go out of business and not hire the cheap labor or hire it and still stay in business and continue being a contributing taxpayer. Again, the community organizer will not let the Border Patrol, ICE and other federal law enforcement round them up and send them home. These people will eventually get to vote one of these days and liberals want to make sure they vote democratic.
"Just a little fun with words..." I doubt this was said in fun at all. I certainly did not see it as funny, but rather attack on a document that all real Americans should be in awe of and what it represents.
So Virginia, take another sip of the liberal kool aid and talk about how this nation is so messed up.
I realize you were trolling for a response. Well, you have it.
My words are not to have fun with. I mean them all.

As these blogs are a public forum, I would remind you that you needn’t address your ideas and opinions directly to me. Simply respond to any ideas offered with your own; it’s not about individuals. It’s about all the things that affect all of us as a whole.
And a little levity can often foster a different perspective when the burden of problem solving gets really heavy. By the way, I never cared much for Kool-Aide even as a kid.
The Supreme Court flushed our "right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." found in our Declaration of Independence when they ruled Roe vs. Wade (January 22, 1973)- the unborn obviously are not guaranteed a "right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
The Supreme Court kicked out "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof . . ." when prayer and the Bible were no longer encouraged in public schools.
The restrictions on prayer and Bible reading in schools is not a restriction on religion, individual students may do so privately. In fact the ruling actually was a blessing as a religion could have been formed to include any number of detestable practices that might have been promulgated in our schools...had the Christian Bible and public prayer been allowed.
