I thought no one knew it but me. Now, Glenn Beck on Fox News aired a program last week that got out a portion of the truth about Marx, Stalin and Mao. I will however caution you that Fox News itself has an agenda filled with propaganda and disinformation. Anyone who knows the real history more or less immediately realized that a portion of that history was intentionally left out to bring about a falsehood about the true origins of Marxist Communism.
The idea that Hitler was a quasi-Marxist is so laughable not even to be addressed. This communication was issued by German radio upon the death of Hitler: “Our Fuehrer has fallen in our struggle against Bolshevism [Russian Communism].”
Hardly sounds like a Communist to me.
I’ll also relate an anecdotal story I once read about Fascism. An Eastern European peasant reported: “When the Nazis came they killed all who opposed them. When the Communists came, they killed all who opposed them, all who owned anything, all who might oppose them, and all the village Communists.”
Vladimir Nabokov also related in his Speak Memory (please read it): “They will kill all these Socialists like farmers and ferrets kill hares [rabbits].”
How many people know that the German state of Bavaria fell to a Communist Soviet (tribunal) shortly after World War I, at more or less the same time Russia fell to Lenin.
Those who watched Glenn Beck may have also noticed that Lenin (could I possibly have missed it?) was never mentioned. How can one put forth a treatise on Marxist Leninism with no mention of Lenin. Trotsky was also left out. If you’ve never read George Orwell’s Animal Farm, pick it up, read it; if nothing else, look at the synopsis on Wikipedia.Org. Who does Napoleon the pig represent? Has there been a second coming?
But getting to guerra, war: a Roman general once wrote that the best tactic against any enemy was famine, starvation. In the twentieth century, the nonviolent form of this tactic was boycott. Do you give money to your enemies to buy and sharpen knives to cut your throat? Do you pay for NBC, CBS and ABC to be on your cable subscription? Do you believe that NBC, CBS and ABC support Socialism, which is a stepping stone to Marxist Communism per Karl Marx’s The Communist Manifesto?
Have you complained to your cable provider? Have you pulled the plug? Why not?
