A Hull couple was reportedly robbed at knifepoint recently as they returned to their Crabapple Hollow Road home following a trip to the grocery store.
According to the incident report, a white male in his mid to late 30s with short strawberry blond hair and a short mustache, driving an older model small truck, approached a man and his wife as they pulled under their carport following a trip to Ingles in Hull. The man came up to their car and asked a question about where someone lived.
When they told him they didn’t know the information, he reportedly started to walk away and then came back, a four-inch knife in hand, and demanded their money, keys and cell phone. After taking the money, he ordered them to the other side of the carport and then drove away.
The incident remains under investigation, according to the sheriff’s office.
