A Colbert man was sentenced recently in Madison County Superior Court to 10 years probation on a theft charge.
James Quinton Faucett, 25, 1366 Kingston Hollow, Colbert, was sentenced to 10 years probation and fined $252 for theft by taking (reduced from burglary). He was also sentenced to five years probation for criminal damage to property in the second degree.
Other actions filed recently in the office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Madison County include:
•Dustin Albert Edwards, 20, 74 Buddy Moore Road Lot 37, Hull, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $135 for theft by taking (reduced from burglary).
•Mary Shaconda Mize, 30, 3351 Hardman Morris Road Lot 1, Colbert, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $202 for possession of drug related objects (reduced from possession of tools for the commission of a crime). Charges of violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act (VGCSA) — possession/purchase of cocaine and failure to appear were dismissed.
•Eddie Adam Hicks, 27, P.O. Box 1038, Danielsville, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $135 for obstruction of officers.
•Tywanna Lashay Wilson, no age available, 77 Thomas Road, Hull, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $135 for disorderly conduct. A charge of obstruction of officers was dismissed.
•Jabbaris Lamar Brown, 26, 120 Sayemore Drive, Athens, was sentenced to one year probation, 50 hours community service and was fined $135 for disorderly conduct. A charge of obstruction of officers was dismissed.
•Joshua Adam Willis, 30, 529 Piedmont Park Road, Hull, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $810 for criminal trespass and theft by taking.
•Gail Parks Collins, 53, 1326 Hwy. 326, Commerce, was sentenced to one year probation and fined a total of $545 for motor vehicle windshield requirements, reckless driving and drugs not in original container. A charge of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer was dismissed.
•Scott Anthony Moore, 37, 219 Amberly Drive, Hull, was sentenced to one year probation and fined a total of $1,025 for possession of drug related objects/equipment, driving while license suspended and three counts of drugs not in original container. Charges of visibility violations and three counts of possession of a controlled substance were dismissed.
•Cindi Lynn Massey, 28, P.O. Box 485, Ila, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $490 for reckless driving (reduced from DUI drugs). Charges of possession of a controlled substance, safety belt violations and license to be carried and exhibited on demand were dismissed.
•Jennifer Hall Patton, 36, P.O. Box 61, Hull, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $135 for theft by taking. A charge of failure to appear was dismissed.
•Jamie Lamar Kitchens, 31, 55 Baxter Road, Commerce, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $280 for reckless driving (reduced from DUI alcohol) and failure to maintain a lane. A charge of hit and run was dismissed.
•Sandi Renee Colley, 30, 150 Apt. 2 Viking Court, Athens, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $270 for drugs not in original container. Two charges of possession of a controlled substance were dismissed.
•Kevin Thomas Parham, 25, 6733 Hwy. 72 West, Colbert, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $472 for public drunkenness.
•Sarai C. Watters, 26, 1366 Kingston Hollow, Colbert, was sentenced to 10 years probation and fined $600 for theft by taking (reduced from burglary) and criminal damage to property in the second degree.
•Steven Lee Wilson, 51, P.O. Box 672, Comer, pleaded not guilty to battery.
