A woman on Woodale Street in Hull thinks she may be the victim of a “Voodoo spell” after she allegedly found a brown egg in a brown paper bag on her back porch recently.
According to the incident report, written on the egg was the statement, “I know what your doing, (name withheld).” The woman told deputy Brandon Hanley that she thinks someone is casting “a Voodoo spell on her.” She wanted to keep the egg to have other people look at it and she requested extra patrol in her neighborhood in the meantime. She was advised to contact law enforcement if she had any further problems.
In another incident, numerous warrants will be issued for a man who fled on foot during a traffic stop on Norwood Road at the Clarke County line last weekend, after he dragged Deputy Josh Fowler across a parking lot before the officer managed to get free.
The incident began when Fowler spotted an older model Chevrolet C-10 pickup without a working tag light on Norwood Road. After the traffic stop was initiated, the driver pulled into the parking lot of Norwood package store, while at the same time tossing something out the window. While talking to the driver, who said he did not have his license on him, Fowler noticed he was clutching something in his right hand. After repeatedly asking him to reveal the object, the suspect made a swift movement, causing Fowler to grab his hand.
At that point, Fowler opened the door to try to get the suspect out, and he put the vehicle in drive and took off, catching Fowler’s arm as he did so. After Fowler broke free, the driver spun his tires across the road and struck a mailbox on the Clarke County side and causing the vehicle to come to a stop. The driver took off on foot through the woods. Fowler pursued, but lost the suspect in the woods.
A smoking pipe and a bag containing methamphetamine were found at the location of the initial stop.
"Voodoo?!?" Obviously this woman was on something. This was a Christian prayer blessing...Can't she tell the difference?

JC- Well it all depends on if the egg was rotten or not. If it was already cooked then someone just wanted to make her breakfast.
Joe Christmas- I don't know a whole lot about Voodoo but if it was me I would make a sign that says DON'T LEAVE AN EGG LEAVE A CHICKEN and I'll get my own eggs. I think somebody was trying to scare her and it's working? I didn't think there was still Voodoo witches or what ever you call them around? I thought if you had a problem with someone you and them would fight it out OR you shoot them?
This is for the woman in Hull who thinks she had a voodoo spell cast on her. If she will take a live chicken and wave it around her head while chanting George Dubya, George Dubya, three times the spell will be broken.

Whoa now this is something someone gives you a brown egg in a brown paper sack. What does this mean? Could be someone just thought she needed an egg for breakfast. AND she wanted to keep the egg to show it to friends. NO she wanted to cook it and eat it.
