This plan would take care of the drug-dealing thief AND his/her family. The family would move away to another area so that the child who has been sent to prison can visit them with no fear of penalty. Maybe by this time, the entire family would have learned a lesson. If not, when the thugs go back to his/her old habibits and when he/she gets caught again, the county Judge and Procecutor of the new residence gives the same punishment. After having to do this 3 or 4 times, maybe the family would get their acts together. The best thing about it would be these people would only be wasting the taxpapers money for a trial and incarceration once per county instead of forcing one county to foot the bill for 30 years.
I have always felt that if the judges and procecutors could get to gether and try to REALLY get rid of all of the druggies, dope-dealers, theives, parents who don't make their children go to shool to get educated, parents who encourage their children to drop out of school...basically, ignorance breeding ignorance...unethical families would have to run to another county so that they could live peacefully. My sister said, "But they'd come to our county", to which I responded, "You'd have to talk your county in to doing the same thing to get them out of your county. Wouldn't it be great if the various law enforcements could some how run all of the people who think lying, stealing, selling drugs, etc, are okay, and be able to relocate them in a state like South or North Dakota that are sortof desolate. They could all live together with no laws, since most of them don't abide by laws anyway and we would finally get to live in homes that we don't have to lock up like a prison for fear of someone breaking in and stealing stuff that we work a job in order to purchase our "stuff"?
