Madison County Industrial Development and Building Authority executive director Marvin White issued the following report to county commissioners May 27:
“Neese-Diamond Hill Road, Hwy. 29 to Sanders Road — we are waiting to see what funds we have left for work on this road.
“The Madison County ID&BA will be connecting to the city of Danielsville on Hwy. 98 at the county farm. This will give added fire protection for the Danielsville area, both inside and outside the city, as well as a backup water source for both city and county.
“The Hull-Sanford water water plant has been completed. EPD inspected the plant and drip field. They listed some six items that needed to be done. We are working on these so we can get the startup permit. Also, Ingles does not have the lift station and lines to their building.
“The Seagraves Mill Dam drain has been replaced, and the area we had to dig out has been replaced and compacted to meet requirements. We want to get the spillway repaired so the lake can be refilled. We probably will add some height to the dam just as a safety factor. No increase in the full pool level of the lake. The soil and water group will have excess dirt from the watershed lake on Beck Road. This would be close by to haul dirt to Seagraves Dam for the increased dam height.”
