Dear Editor:
The next president of the United States will come to office in one of the most critical periods in U.S. and world history. The next president will not change or solve all of the U.S. or world problems that some have been years in the making in one term. What will be important will be the groundwork that he puts in place to solve these problems.
LETTER: Americans need to look long and hard at presidential candidates

well your right we do need to look hard at the canidates .. the problem is if you look hard at barack obama all you see is a empty suit! he's got great speech writers and a great speaking voice but if you look past that. and into the jr. senator you will see a liberal voting record and not much else we need a president that can make good choices for our families future and not some media puppet that has got so many fooled... if you buy into obama's speeches and vote him into office then you can bet you'll have buyers remorse sometime in 2009... i know things don't look so well for McCain but he will get the job done.. and some say that he's like bush well i for one think thats not too bad.. we are having a hard time now but look back the last 7 yrs and you will see it was not all bad i think that since congress got changed thats were our problems started! i know bush has made mistakes and i don't like some of the things one bit but obama he will in my opinion ruin the u.s. as we know and love it !
