VFD, chicken farmers ask IDA for help in northern Madison Co.
Six Harrison Community residents, including the fire chief of the Harrison Volunteer Fire Department, applauded as the county Industrial Development Authority (IDA) voted Monday night to apply for a loan/grant package from GEFA (Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority) that, if approved, will fund a $2.3 million water line project in that community.
