Winterville man arrested on numerous charges

Carlton Lindsey Erwin, 51, 39 Milton Road, was charged with driving while license suspended or revoked, theft by receiving stolen property, possession and use of drug-related objects, prescription drugs not in their original container, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, illegal drugs, marijuana or methamphetamine, receipt, possession or transfer of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies and four counts of possession of a controlled substance (II, III and IV).

Comer police officer Cliff Moody reportedly spotted the vehicle while on patrol as it headed east on Hwy. 72 in Comer.

He stopped the vehicle and told the driver (Erwin) the reason for the stop. Moody allegedly found a small bag of suspected methamphetamine on Erwin’s person and a subsequent search of the vehicle yielded close to a pound of marijuana, 31.6 ounces of additional methamphetamine, several prescription narcotics packaged for resale, a loaded 38 caliber derringer and a large amount of cash. Also in the vehicle were several pairs of ladies panties and a number of “sex toys.”

•Sheila Ann Everett, 46, 2505 Danielsville Road, Athens, DUI and failure to obey stop sign.

•Clint Lee Flanigan, 35, 803 Willis Glen Road, Elberton, DUI, defective tires and driving while license withdrawn.

•Talmadge Eugene Fleeman, 70, 346 Hartwell Hwy., Elberton, driving while license suspended and weaving over roadway.

•Vanessa Josett Foster, 40, 355 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, failure to appear.

•Holly Ann Hansford, 42, 7522 Hwy. 72 West, Colbert, probation violation.

•Katlin Marie Harrington, 22, 661 Willington Drive, Winder, hold for Barrow County.

•Agnes Olivia Holder, 48, 182 Colebridge Circuit, Athens, was charged with pedestrian under the influence after deputies found her walking along the roadway stumbling and unsteady on her feet.

•Jessika Annnicole Howell, 20, 953 Broad River Road, Carlton, failure to appear.

•Emmett Joseph Looney, 36, 1957 Colbert Danielsville Road, Danielsville, order to incarcerate.

•Robert Anthony Lopez, 31, 530 Red Dog Run, Royston, DUI. (GSP)

•David Earl Moffett, 31, 1830 Cummings Drive, Lot 21, Elberton, forgery, giving false name address, or birthdate to a law enforcement officer, driving while license suspended, speed less than minimum and failure to appear.

•Zachariah Levi Morris, 18, 7070 Hwy. 29 South, Lot #4, Hull, failure to appear.

•William Daniel Newman, 50, 830 Young Harris Road, Danielsville, holding for another county.

•Jose Reyes, 23, 437 North Bluff Road, Athens, seat belt violation and driving without a license. (GSP)

•Stephanie Lynn Sims, 32, 467 Kellogg Drive, Colbert, financial transaction card theft, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance and financial identity fraud.

•Willie Joe Smith, 59, 400 Alberta Drive, Colbert, was charged with possession of cocaine, improper passing of an emergency vehicle and possession and use of drug-related objects after a deputy pulled him over for failing to move over or slow down on Hwy. 72 while passing by another traffic stop.

•Hank Michael Stone, 26, 427 Park Avenue, Tifton, holding for another county.

•Rigoberto Jaimes Tinoco, 39, 61 Cardinal Lane, Commerce, probation violation.

•Randy O’Neal Williams, 45 Colonial Drive, Colbert, disorderly conduct.
