A 25-year-old Dewy Rose man was sentenced to 10 years probation in Madison County Superior Court recently on a drug charge.
Kelton Alexander Conn, 1989 Deep Creek Road, Dewy Rose, was sentenced to 10 years probation and fined $1,587 for possession of methempetamine (reduced from possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute). A charge of possession of tools for the commission of a crime was dismissed.
Other actions filed recently in the office of the clerk of Superior Court of Madison County include:
•Kenneth David Gibbs, 33, P.O. Box 56, Hull, was sentenced to five years probation and fined $850 for theft by taking.
•Pamela Denise Williams, 38, 141 Old Athens Road, was sentenced to five years probation and fined $522 for forgery in the first degree.
•David Arthur Nelson, 43, 108 Old Rogers Mill Road, was sentenced to five years probation and fined $2,025 for possession, manufacture or distribution of marijuana.
•Ronnie Dwayne Bales, 27, 1479 Macedonia Church Road, was sentenced to seven years probation and fined $2,025 for possession of methamphetamine (reduced from possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute). A charge of possession of tools for the commission of a crime was dismissed.
•Keith Bales, 39, 1479 Macedonia Church Road, Danielsville, was sentenced to seven years probation and fined $1,150 for possession of methamphetamine. A charge of obstruction of officers was dismissed.
