Dear Editor:
I recently had the opportunity to witness unconditional love in its purest form in the most unlikely place, a memorial service. Sunday evening I attended a memorial service for 21-year-old Tyler Bleecker at the Extra Special People (ESP) facility in Watkinsville. ESP provides service and outreach for children, teens and young adults with physical, intellectual and/or cognitive disabilities. This program serves the disabled in Oconee, Madison, Oglethorpe, Barrow, Jackson and Walton counties. Tyler Bleecker had been a volunteer and counselor at ESP for eight years and touched the lives of everyone he encountered. His unselfish and cheerful giving of his times and talents surely landed him among God’s angels.
LETTER: Unconditional love, a place to give

It's a shame that the many celebrities who take/send their time and money to Africa and other foreign countries can't share some of their wealth with the needy in their home country, the United States.
