A Hull man was arrested recently after he allegedly left the scene after he wrecked his father’s vehicle on Joe Cooper Road.
John Foster Williams, 31, of 171 Pebblebrook Lane, was charged with driving while license withdrawn, failure to report striking fixed object and open container.
According to the report, the officer was able to identify him from items left at the scene of the wreck and from witnesses who said he had been driving by a house on the road. The resident at the house said Williams was driving by his house because his niece had just broken up with him. An open beer can in a koozie was also found at the scene.
