Dear Editor:

I am writing with great concern for the individuals who rolled our yard, trees, bushes, mailbox, driveway, banisters and roof Saturday, Sept. 11, and left a note announcing that our house had been “raped.”

These vandalizers were obviously not thinking to write such a crude word. They didn’t consider that possibly me, a family member or friend could have actually been raped at one time. I found this note to be highly offensive. I am concerned that the next yard these individuals invade may waken the homeowner who is trying to protect his/her property. Think before you prank.

Dawne YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT THEY HAD BETTER THINK BEFORE THEY PRANK because I know alot of home owners who will shoot first and ask questions later some will just shoot and not ask no questions. I ask you who ever is doing these childish pranks is this prank worth dying for? You may think it's funny now BUT how funny is it gonna be when one of you gets shot?

Is it worth spending time in prison because someone was in your yard with toilet paper?

There's nothing cool or funny about defacing someone else's property. If you shoot someone for it, though, they better be in your house rolling your den.

Sardonic Veracity- I know it's against the law to shoot someone BUT the people I'm talking about DON'T CARE. They may shoot you outside but by the time the law gets there the body will be inside and the body will have a knife or some kind of weapon.

Well if you feel threatened under that there shoot first law you can. But a little rock salt want kill um but I bet they will think twice afore they dun it again.Heck I would just sick the dog on um of throw rocks at um shoot the flip at um .Thats a sling shot for all you dont know.It aint agin the Law to shoot folks if you feel you life is threanted or a second or third party under state law .its abin that away for several years.

Po John-The Dog ideal would work better BECAUSE they will be trespassing and the dog is just protecting their yard.

I definitely do not agree with what was done to your property and do feel property owners have the right to shoot trespassers then ask questions but please consider the source. These juvenile delinquents probably didn’t pass a single spelling test and left school after the 2nd grade. They probably meant ‘wrapped' instead of ‘raped’

Yeah jasbury- You may be right that's like I heard on the dumbest crooks a man went in a bank to rob it and passed a note to the teller that said "Put al tha mony in ths brun pepper bag or I will shirt ur heard of now" If a man were to give you a note like that it would be hard to take him seriously? CROOKS IF YOUR GOING TO DO A CRIME AND LEAVE A NOTE FOR GOD SAKES LEARN HOW TO SPELL and how to write a decent understandable note?
