Woman threatened by Facebook friend
A woman on Glenn Carrie Road reported recently that she had been threatened by someone she had reconnected with on Facebook.
The woman said she was contacted by a friend on Facebook and had been talking with him and catching up with old times. He reportedly asked her to fly to where he was in Wisconsin and be intimate with him. He had also reportedly been sending her gifts. When she refused his request he became angry and started making threats, saying that he had money and would show her what it would do to her and her family. Then the man’s wife called and wanted to know what was going on between the victim and her husband. The victim said she attempted to explain and sent pictures and other correspondence to her, but the woman became angry and said they would be flying to Georgia and coming to her house on Saturday, Nov. 13. She had saved the messages for evidence.
