Concentrated political power is the most dangerous thing on earth. It is estimated that there have been 262 million victims of “democide,” or government-caused deaths, in the last century. That’s six times as many people dying from democide than by war — death at the hand of people working for the government.
Mass media, now subsidized by a leftist agenda, uses the art of “turnspeak” which is the way of making the oppressed appear to be the oppressor. People who dare to speak up for the American values or for the right to speak out about this current president, or policies, or to protest the downright arrogance of public servants, are bullied by leftists or by misguided citizens of our country.

In America now, the leftists, socialists, communists condemn Hitler, but they give a pass to and make false distinctions between fascism, communism and socialism. More importantly, the American leftists sympathize with socioeconomic goals of socialism and communism. Too often, teachers with leftist leanings teach American children their views as fact, while neglecting to show proof to the contrary.

The primary goals of socialism and communism is the government ownership as the means of protection. Quasi-ownership by government regulation, oversight, taxation and subsidies.

Most Americans find socialism, communism, progressivism repugnant, but by sanctioning greater government centralization and its control over our lives, we become the dupes, or as Lenin said, “useful idiots.”
The next time any celebrity is heard criticizing American citizens as a whole, while praising the liberal political agenda and the current president as if he was a combination rock-star/perfect-being – remember this word, “money.” Those people are being paid, in cash or in work that which spells cash. It all comes back to their wealth. But the majority of American citizens aren’t getting wealth. In fact, they are losing their wealth and are being told that’s a good thing. I find that absurd, and it’s past time for all the thinking people to stop being useful idiots.
Our young people don’t need to give up or grow apathetic toward politics or government. They are the future. Their future depends on learning the truth about the past. They can’t get that from basic education or from television or movie celebrities. Sadly, most can’t get that from their own family.
But they can get it. Share your stories, teach our young people. They are smarter than you think.

In November 2008 American citizens went to the polls, and a majority voted into office our current president, Barack Obama. The ability to vote for candidates of our choice in free and open elections is an important part of a free society and is a fundamental tenet of liberal democracy.
You've probably come across the term "liberal democracy" in your readings of R. J. Rummel's works. It's something he believes in and supports, even if he doesn't like the choice of the majority of American voters in 2008.
That election cycle was a historical moment, and for months I shared the related histories with my grandchildren, just as I shared countless aspects of American and world history with my children when they were growing up.
I would never want to live in a country where by law children are taught what to think, which is tantamount to brainwashing, rather than how to think for themselves.
I certainly would not want anyone with a pejorative bent--such as the one demonstrated by you that equates liberal, progressive, and leftist Americans with communism, fascism, Nazism, socialism, and the government-sponsored deaths of millions of people--teaching my grandchildren anything except what a fear monger sounds like.

What system of Government are we suppose to have?

We are supposed to have a Constitutional Republic.
The only thing about our system that's a Democracy is our Elections.
The Founders called a Democracy, Mobocracy.
Democracy is mob rule and under our system of Government we have individual rights,not collective rights which can be taken away by

Remember the 2004 election? Al Gore would have become president if your majority rules theory of a Constituional Democracy were correct.

The 2004 election was between Bush and Kerry. Bush won the popular and electoral vote. This is an example of how our government is set up as a representative republic. Another would be the Congress. If we were a true Democracy, there would be no need for a Congress. Americans would vote on everything. Instead, we, as groups, elect one person to represent us by voting. A democracy would be incredibly cumbersome.
So many things to debate . Is there one single thing that we can agree on?
