Warrants issued for man fleeing officers
Warrants for aggravated assault, fleeing, obstruction and other charges have been issued for a 28-year old man who fled officers recently after they spotted him in the car line at Hull-Sanford Elementary School waiting to pick up children.
According to the report, officer Josh Fowler spotted the man in a green Ford Probe pull into the parking lot of Hull-Sanford and recognized him and knew that he did not have a valid license. Fowler had dispatch verify the man’s status and they told him that the suspect had active warrants out of the county. When he and another officer approached the suspect’s car, the man fled while one officer was holding on to the door handle. The suspect turned down into the track area of the school spinning tires and damaging property. He then pulled his vehicle out onto Fortson Store Road running the red light and going straight across onto Norwood Road. While on Norwood Road with the officers in pursuit, the suspect allegedly pulled into oncoming traffic and passed a vehicle in a no passing zone going speeds of up to 100 mph. As officers closed the gap, the suspect turned onto Creekwood Drive, almost striking a woman as she stood in her yard and hitting two trees as he swerved back onto the roadway. The man’s vehicle was found abandoned behind a residence at the end of Creekwood Drive. A search of the area was conducted by the sheriff’s office and the Georgia State Patrol but the suspect was unable to be located.

So is the guy's name a secret?
I think the only time a high speed chase is justified is when the suspect is a known killer, or armed and dangerous, rapist,or something similar. Not because a tailiight was out,or because of driving on a suspended license.Get the plate number, pick em' up later.
Speed kills.
