Only one out of every 25 registered Madison County voters participated in the Nov. 30 runoff election for two state judicial posts.
A total of 652 out of 16,066 registered county voters (four percent) participated in the runoffs for state Supreme Court Justice and a Court of Appeals judge.
Statewide, incumbent Supreme Court Justice David Nahmias held off challenger Tammy Lynn Adkins, gaining 73 percent of the vote in Madison County.
Chris McFadden defeated Antoinette Davis in the Court of Appeals race, earning 71 percent of the vote in Madison County.
