The Madison County Board of Commissioners will meet at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 11, in the county government complex.

Agenda items include:

•Chairman Wesley Nash – proclamation for Constitution Week 2008, September 17-23, 2008.

•Chairman Nash – chairman’s report to the board.

NEW BUSINESS:

•County Clerk Morris Fortson – property and casualty and general liability insurance renewal

•Larry Stewart – board of assessors personnel issue.

•Human Resources Director Donna Sisk – personnel issues for the road department, EMS and the board of commissioners.

•Commissioner Bruce Scogin – coroner’s salary.

•Commissioner Scogin – New Hope Church Road.

•Commissioner Scogin – amendment to the Animal Control Ordinance.

•Commissioner Scogin – mowing of right of way in subdivisions.

•Chairman Nash – road projects.

•Urgent matters.
