A California man was arrested after officers were summoned to an address on Charlie Bolton Road concerning a domestic dispute.
Brian Edward Vierra 35, 915 Johnfer Way, Apt. 33, Sacramento, was charged with obstruction and simple assault FVA.
According to the incident report, a woman called 9-1-1 to report that she was holding a man in her home at gunpoint. When officer Klint Segars arrived, he found the victim standing in the kitchen still on the phone with dispatch. He asked her what was going on and before she could answer Vierra jumped out, naked, from beside the refrigerator. He immediately took a fighting stance and started toward Segars, who identified himself as an officer and ordered him to stop. Vierra continued toward Segars until Segars pulled his taser and pointed it at him and he immediately went to his knees. Other officers arrived and he was ordered to the floor and handcuffed but began to resist as he was escorted out the door. He continued to resist, falling on a patch of ice as he was taken to the patrol car. Once the offender was secured, Segars interviewed the victim, who said she had met Vierra over the internet and that they had gone to dinner before coming back to her residence and that Vierra had been drinking. After they had sexual relations, Vierra allegedly became violent and she told him to go into a spare bedroom and “sleep it off.” She then locked herself in her own bedroom. At some point he got into her room anyway and began walking toward her, making her fear for her life. She grabbed her pistol and called 9-1-1, where she held him at gunpoint until officers arrived.
Later, while enroute to the sheriff’s office Vierra allegedly began to head butt and kick the cage of the patrol car. He was placed in restraints on the way to the jail, but freed himself. Once at the jail, he was placed in a restraint chair.
