A tip jar containing approximately $100 was reportedly stolen from the No. 1 China restaurant in Danielsville last week.
According to the report, three young white males pulled up in front of the store and one of them, wearing a ball cap and with a goatee, came inside to order food. He paid for the food, left and then returned to ask for soy sauce. As the waitress retrieved the sauce, the man reportedly grabbed a plastic jar used for tips and fled.
As he left, the 7-year old daughter of the proprietors’ allegedly stood in the doorway in an attempt to stop him, but he knocked her aside. The incident remains under investigation.
In another incident, someone reportedly kicked in the door of a home under construction on Watson Drive last week and stole some of the appliances. Items missing included a refrigerator, a washing machine and a stove.

•Statutory rape was reported on Hwy. 72 West in Hull.
•Theft by taking was reported on Mill Creek Parkway in Hull.
•Simple battery was reported on Hardman Morris Road.
•Simple assault was reported on Wildcat Bridge Road.
•Criminal trespass was reported on Hwy. 29 South in Hull.
•Theft by taking was reported on Allen Road.
