The Madison County Republican Party will hold precinct mass meetings at 9 a.m., Saturday, March 12, to elect delegates and alternate delegates to the Madison County Republican Party Convention.
The county convention will convene at 10 a.m., March 12, at the same location for the purpose of electing delegates and alternate delegates to the congressional district convention and the state convention.
Additionally, the convention will be adopting the rules of the county Republican and electing officers for the 2011-2013 term.
Both the precinct mass meeting and county convention will be held in the commissioners’ room at the Madison County Government Complex, located at 91 Albany Avenue in Danielsville.
All Madison County residents who are legally registered to vote and believe in the principles of the Republican Party are urged to participate in this process, organizers said.
The 10th Congressional District Convention will convene Saturday, April 16, at 10 a.m. at Spot Light Movie Theater, Lake Oconee, Greensboro. The district convention will adopt rules for the Congressional District Republican Party and electing officers for the 2011-2013 term. The convention will also elect members of the state committee of the Georgia Republican Party. Delegates and alternates will be required to pay a fee, which is to cover the cost of the convention.
The Georgia Republican Party State Convention will convene at 2 p.m., Friday, May 13, in Macon and will elect the Georgia Republican Party officers and conduct all other business as necessary. Delegates and alternates will be required to pay a fee, which is to cover the cost of the convention.
