The big stormed that blew through the county Monday night toppled part of a pine tree into the roof of Bill’s Barbecue at the Dogsboro intersection of Hwy. 29 and the Hwy. 106 Spur.
The restaurant, which has been open since 1983, is owned by Bob Lance and Tom Patterson. Bill’s Barbecue was closed Tuesday and Wednesday due to the damage, but the restaurant plans to re-open for business Thursday, April 7.
“We appreciate all of the concern and apologize for the inconvenience,” owners said.

Why did they cut down that huge wonderful tree at that same intersection? Was it diseased?

I'd also like to know about that tree. I miss it.
