Tyler Moon liked to play games.
And “wall ball” was a fun pastime he enjoyed with his friends at the county recreation department.
Rodney Rogers, a distant cousin of Moon’s, was shocked and saddened when the 14-year-old lost his life April 8 in a lawn mower accident. And Rogers feels moved to try to do something good in response to all the pain and sadness with the loss, something nice for the Moons and for Madison County kids in Moon’s honor.
Rodney Rogers uses stakes and red tape to show where a wall ball facility is planned.

What an AWESOME thing you are doing Mr Rogers. You will touch so many lives by your generosity as did this young man. I was wanting to tell you to contact some of your local concrete plants and explain what & why you are doing this and most of them would LOVE to "DONATE" the concrete for a cause such as this one. That will free up the money donated for you to plan that festival OPENING DAY! And what would be GREAT is for You & Tyler's parents to be the ones to cut the ribbon. I hope & pray that this event has a wonderful turn out. May you be Blessed for your Kind Heart!!!
