A Madison County man has been arrested as part of a months-long multi-agency Mexican drug trafficking ring investigation involving numerous suspects in the northeast Georgia area. The lead agency in the investigation is the Drug Enforcement Administration, according to Madison County chief deputy Shawn Burns.
Larry S. David, 30, of Charlie Bolton Road, Hull was arrested Thursday, June 23, on charges manufacture/deliver/distribute/administering methamphetamine and marijuana possession less than an ounce.
During the arrest, $400 in cash and a 1999 Honda Civic were also seized.
A second man, Mario Carriale Castillo, 30, 1107 Old Elberton Road, Lot 1, Athens was also arrested on a U.S. Marshal hold in connection with the drug ring.
