A Danielsville man was recently sentenced to two years confinement for obstruction of officers.
Mitchell Lee Weathersbee, 35, 1401 Ivrin Kirk Road Lot 24, Danielsville, was also sentenced to three years probation for obstruction of officers.
He was sentenced to one year confinement for public drunkenness and theft by receiving stolen property. He was also fined a total of $320.
Other actions filed in the office of the clerk of Superior Court of Madison County recently include:
•Alvaro Solis Dominguez, 44, 319 Amberly Drive, Hull, was sentenced to six months probation for driving without a license and weaving over roadway. Dominguez was also fined $280. A charge of obstruction of officers was dismissed.
•Angel Vinicio Calderon, 22, 201 Cotton Circle, Colbert, was sentenced to six months probation for DUI, speeding and giving false information to law officers. He was given 40 hours of community service and fined $795. Charges of reckless driving and driving without a license were dismissed.
•David Lamar Thigpen, 36, 326 Hickory Hills Road, Danielsville, was sentenced to six months probation and fined $250 for harassing phone calls.
•James Timothy McDaniel, 22, 3565 Commerce Road, Hull, was sentenced to six months probation, 10 hours community service and fined $135 for reckless conduct.
•Salvador Jimenez Almarez, 44, 231 Gillespie Drive, Hull, was sentenced to 30 days confinement for public drunkenness.
•Tracy Allen Butcher, 42, 2926 Orchard Drive, Clarkesville, was sentenced to one year confinement for obstruction of officers and giving false information to officers.
