We are living above our means. We are letting tax cheats avoid paying their fair share and yes I mean those Conservation tax parcels that do not qualify. Then the 49& who pay NO federal taxes yet want MC to get grants. The kids I knew in High School who drank and smoked weed and now live double wide with 2 cars and spend whatever they make on well NOT saving for future. The system can no longer support itself even if we tax the 51% of tax payers who pay taxes much much more. I will HARP as EJ notes on the conservation tax issue some more. Ch 231 the Ag business station this weekend mentioned issues with subsidies probably going to be curtailed and some of that related to people taking advantage of the system. Time for our BOC here in this county to look at employee salaries and what some of the higher paid employees do and if not doing that much let them go as I am tired of parasites on my tax dollar.
