D’ville man charged with obstruction, other offenses
A Danielsville man was arrested last week after he allegedly damaged another man’s truck by striking it with an “unknown” object.
Thomas Jerry Haley, 61, 97 Grady Lane, was charged with disorderly conduct, obstruction, criminal damage to property second degree, disorderly conduct and terroristic threats and acts.
According to the incident report, deputy Brandon Moss went to the scene at Haley’s residence, where the victim reported that Haley had hit his truck repeatedly with an unknown object. A woman at the scene stated she had witnessed the incident. When officer Moss approached Haley, who was seated on the front porch, Haley allegedly began to curse and appeared very intoxicated. When Moss asked him to come off the porch and speak with him, Haley reportedly said “I ain’t going no *^#$!@& where.” He then stood up and said, “I’m the baddest @#$% $%^&r on the planet.”
Haley has been in the arrest reports on several occasions in the last few weeks, most recently in late June when he allegedly violated a temporary protection order and then resisted arrest, using “foul language” toward officers at that time. He was charged at that time with obstruction and two counts of violation of a family violence order.

Smith asked her if she needed medical assistance and she said “no, I’m fine.” When he asked her what happened she reportedly said she was going down the road and she had to “tinkle” so she stopped on the side of the road and the car slid down the embankment. Smith noted that she seemed intoxicated but she said she had not been drinking. She then said she had gotten sick and pulled off the road when the accident happened. She submitted to a roadside breath test, which tested positive for alcohol, and was arrested. At this point she said she wanted an ambulance to check her for a “heart attack.” When the ambulance arrived she changed her complaint to a “migraine” and then to “mental health issues.” She then refused medical treatment and was taken to jail.
