Republicans to meet Aug. 20

The Madison County Republican Party will meet from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., Aug. 20, in the commissioners’ meeting room in the county government complex.

“We plan on spending this next year updating you on the presidential candidates,” organizers said.

Lisa Mathis will speak about presidential candidates Herman Cain, Ron Paul and Thad McCotter. Suzanne Hudgens will speak about presidential candidates Michelle Bachmann, Tim Pawlenty and Rick Santorum. David Dove will speak about presidential candidates Newt Gingrich, Jon Huntsman and Mitt Romney.

Doors will open at 8 a.m.
