Comer man charged with public indecency
A Comer man was arrested recently after a neighbor passing by complained that he was sitting on his front porch naked.
Christopher Irvin Bloodworth, 44, 3451 Vineyards Creek Church Road, was charged with one count of public indecency (first or second offense).
According to the incident report, officer Brandon Moss met with Bloodworth’s neighbor at Collin’s Fire Department Friday where she told him that a “white male with a ponytail” sits on his front porch naked and that she sees him everyday on her way home from work. She said that she came through there earlier today and that he was on his porch naked again. Officer Moss went to the listed address where he spotted a man (Bloodworth) sitting on the porch in the nude. When Bloodworth spotted the patrol car he reportedly ran inside and closed the door. When Moss knocked on the door, Bloodworth came out fully clothed and said “What is going on?” When asked why he ran when he saw the patrol car he said, “I was just sitting on the porch reading the newspaper and drinking a glass of wine, is that a crime?” He said he was naked because it was “hot outside.” He was handcuffed and taken to jail.
